The Friends of St Alban's
The friends of S. Alban the Martyr, Holborn was re-constituted on S. Alban's Day 1984.
Aims
The aims of the Friends is to unite all who value the historic Church of S. Alban the Martyr, Holborn, its associated Catholic witness within the Church of England, the beauty of its liturgical observances and who wish to help maintain and expand this heritage
Membership

Membership of the Friends is intended to be open to those who do not live in the Parish or cannot regularly participate in its worship.

Members will be linked to the life of the Church & Parish by:

Half-Yearly Newsletters and the Annual Calendar of Parish Events

Notification of special projects and promotion of publications etc.

The names of all Friends will be placed on the High Altar each S. Alban's Day

Individual departed Friends will be remembered at the Requiem Masses in November
St Alban's Church already operates a Stewardship system for its regular worshippers to meet the normal parish expenses. The Friends' funds will be kept separate from church accounts and not used for staff costs or parish and Diocesan expenditure. It is hoped that we will be able to support special projects from time to time.
